Nephtalie Jacques

Nephtalie Jacques is currently a Senior Litigation Advocate with Southern Poverty Law Center. Ms. Jacques is an experienced advocate with half a decade working on systematic litigation cases and investigations relating regarding social justice issues in the South. She is grounded in community, adaptability, leadership, creativity, collaboration, and hard work. Born and raised in Haiti, she developed a passion for justice for marginalized communities. She is passionate about creating change for her community and uplifting people’s voices. She believes that the Haitian community have a responsibility to provide resources and create avenues to empower each other. Because after all “ men anpil, chay pa lou”. When she is not working, you can find her helping others discover who they are and how they uniquely wired. You can also find her playing the flute or at the beach watching the sunset.
