Nicholas Franklyn

Senior EVS Editor/Playback for NFL, Fox B Show

Nicholas Franklyn was born in Barbados and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is a proud graduate of Erasmus Hall HS and especially Hampton University Class of 1987/Essence with a degree in Mass Media/Communications and is a proud member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

For over 30 years, Nikk has built a successful career in television and sports production, specializing in replay editing and live event coverage. A two time Sports Emmy winner, he began his career at PBS/Channel 13 in New York City as a video engineer before moving into sports/entertainment recording and replay editing. Some clients include major networks like Fox Sports(NFL, MLB), TNT/TBS(MLB/NBA/NCAA), ESPN, YES Network, and CBS. His experience also includes entertainment, The Montel Williams and Queen Latifah daytime shows are just a couple of entertainment shows he’s been a part of.  In September he’ll begin his 26th year as Sr. EVS Editor/Playback for NFL on Fox B Show with Joe Davis and Greg Olsen.

Husband and father of two Nikk hopes his journey is a reminder that passion, skill, and persistence can open doors to exciting, non-traditional career paths in media and sports.
