Philippe Bayard

Philippe BAYARD, is president and founder of Sunrise Airways, a Caribbean-based regional carrier dedicated to providing safe and reliable passenger service since 2012, with the vision of connecting “One Caribbean”.

His professional interests range from air transport to renewable energy to real estate investment. He also represents several international companies in the fields of airport design, air traffic management, security printing and document processing. Honorary Consul General of the Kingdom of Norway, Philippe Bayard is not only an influential and important member of the Haitian business community, but also a strong advocate for biodiversity. He is the founding president of the Audubon Society of Haiti and the Haiti National Trust, a private non-profit fund created to protect Haiti’s environment and biodiversity for future generations.

Passionate about music, literature and ornithology, he has also published and/or co-authored a number of books on the subject and conceived the Encuentro project, a musical fusion between the countries of the Caribbean.

In May 2024, Philippe Bayard inaugurated a extended network in the Caribbean, connecting eastern Caribbean islands, starting with St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua, Dominica and St Lucia.
