Pierrie Ganaelle Toussaint

Thematic Coordinator, Haitian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Pierrie Ganaelle Toussaint is a political scientist and feminist with a strong social commitment in Haiti, according to 4-better magazine. With a degree in political science, she is currently responsible for humanitarian projects and an advisor to the Initiative’s Board of Directors. Ganaelle has served as a young Prime Minister in the Haitian Youth Government, as a leader of youth associations and was a 2023 fellow in the U.S. State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP). In Haiti, she has set up numerous social projects: Lead’Elles, Green Ayiti, youth forums and others. For 3 years, she worked for the Haitian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as thematic coordinator of the Culture, Youth and Sports section of the Technical Secretariat of the Haitian-Dominican Joint Commission. In 2022, she represented Haiti at the Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace and was community manager on the ad hoc committee of the Luanda Biennale.
