Rose Ellen Mocombe

Rose Ellen’s passion for college planning was ignited through her own family’s experience. As a homeschooling parent, she guided both of her children through the college application process – a journey filled with challenges, but also remarkable achievements.

Her eldest son was recruited to play baseball at two prestigious military academies, namely Army & Navy; While her younger son, a former gymnast, was recruited as a diver and Geoffrey Canada Scholar to Bowdoin College, a renowned liberal arts school.

Through these experiences, Rose Ellen learned that the key to college success is finding the right fit – not just aiming for the Ivy League or the most prestigious name brand. She saw firsthand how the right college environment can unlock a student’s full potential, allowing them to flourish academically, socially, and personally.

Inspired by her children’s journeys, Rose Ellen decided to share her expertise with other families. She embarked on an educational journey of her own, earning certifications and credentials to become a professional educational consultant.

Today, she draws on her unique blend of personal experience and professional training to guide students and parents through every step of the college admissions process.
