Schultz Simpssie Cazir
Secretary General, Ansanm Pou Ayiti

Schultz Simpssie Cazir was born on September 25, 1988, in Chambellan. He began his education at Georges Angus College in Saint-Marc before attending Toussaint Louverture High School, where he served as President of the graduating class committees for both Rhéto B and Philo A. Additionally, he coordinated the school’s 62nd anniversary celebration committee, demonstrating early leadership abilities.
A passionate advocate for women’s rights, Cazir delivered a public address at Marie-Jeanne High School on March 6, 2009. Speaking to a crowd of young people and journalists, he campaigned for the protection of women and girls from violence, aligning himself as a committed feminist from an early stage.
He later pursued law at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences at UEH, where he was elected President of the second-year law class AM during the 2010-2011 academic year. Cazir also played a key role in organizing ecological camping events in the Pin Forest in July 2011 and in Saint-Marc in December 2011. Additionally, he led the preparatory year at INAGHEI (2011-2012) and became actively involved in promoting environmental conservation in Haiti.
From 2013 to 2015, Cazir was the President of the SUCDEV student association, assuming this role following the organization’s general assembly in March 2013. He was later elected to the University Council of the State University of Haiti (CUEH) in July 2014 and began serving as a Young Minister of Human Rights and Employment in Haiti’s Youth Government in 2015. In the same year, he also ran as a candidate in the legislative elections for the deputy position representing Port-au-Prince’s second constituency.
Between April 2017 and September 2018, Cazir served as a member of the personal cabinet of Ambassador Hervé Denis, Minister of Defense. During this period, he was honored with a formal decoration for leadership by Haiti’s National Youth Tribunal in August 2018.
In 2018, Cazir co-founded the CAZIR Initiative (INIC), which he led as President of its first Board of Directors. Under his leadership, INIC successfully organized a youth leadership forum at Ciné Triomphe, attracting over 250 participants, numerous speakers, and moderators.
In 2019, he became the Provisional National Coordinator of MTV and later its Secretary General until 2023. Today, Schultz Simpssie Cazir serves as Secretary General of Ansanm Pou Ayiti and acts as Special Advisor to Mr. Karl-Henry Périklès, Coordinator of the National Drug Control Commission.
