After navigating a 20+ year career in healthcare compliance and legal support, Tevra Francis discovered the common threads of team building, community connections, media, and inclusivity throughout each role. Her desire to bring businesses, campaigns, and non-profit organizations to their optimum potential motivated Tevra to utilize her diverse experiences and creativity to form her own company. This company, tevMedia, LLC, is a resource for marketing consulting, brand strategy, and content development that promotes diversity, altruism, and excellence. NJ In Color, a media platform dedicated to “Connecting to the Diversity of North Jersey,” was founded by Tevra in 2018.

Utilizing years of progressive leadership roles in marketing and communications, Tevra has a unique insight into the diverse opportunities possible for organizations of all sizes. Her credentials include a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.

Tevra is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and currently serves on the Board Development Committee for the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. For self-care, Tevra enjoys thrifting, supporting the arts, good wine, long pedicures, and reality television. She lives a great life in Bergen County with her husband and two daughters.
