Tiffany Conner

Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator, College of Charleston

Tiffany Conner is in her second season in Charleston after joining Charleston’s women’s basketball staff in May 2023.

In her first season with the Cougars, the program posted a 22-10 overall record; the most wins in a decade. Charleston also earned its first postseason berth since 2014, advancing to the second round of the WNIT.

Prior to her arrival in Charleston, she served as an assistant at Saint Francis and Chicago State. While in Chicago, the team picked up their first win against a Big Ten University (Wisconsin) in program history and posted the most wins since the 2012 season.

Conner has also served as an assistant coach at Fort Valley State, Labette Community College and Rutgers University– Newark. At Labette Community College she led the team to a No. 10 ranking in the NJCAA in 2018 and No. 9 ranking in NJCAA DII in 2018.

She received a full athletic scholarship to attend the University of South Florida and earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications in 2012. She also has a Masters of Science in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire that she received in 2017.

As a player at South Florida, she helped the team to an NCAA Tournament Second Round finish in 2013. She also led the Bulls with 5.9 rebounds per game during the 2012 season.

2012-13 (Senior): Appeared in all 33 games, starting five for USF as a senior … recorded 72 points, 107 rebounds and 31 steals while averaging 16.8 minutes per game … scored a season-high 10 points at Jacksonville on 12/8/12, and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds against FGCU on 12/5/12 … Finished tied for second in school history with 125 career games played

2011-12 (Junior): Averaged 26+ minutes per game, third most on the team … Led the team in rebounding (5.9 per game)… Grabbed a rebound in every game on the season … Second on the team with 2.0 steals per game … Had five games with 10+ rebounds … Played in all 35 games, starting 15, including all three WNIT games … Averaged 26.9 minutes, 4.5 points, 5.9 rebounds (team high), 2 assists, and 2 steals per game … Led the team with 148 defensive rebounds and 207 total rebounds … Season high 16 points and 5-10 from the field against Idaho St. (12/2/11) … Season high 12 rebounds against Florida Atlantic (3/15/12).
