Exploring a faith-based approach and the role of religious institutions in the development/advancement of Haiti. What are the avenues for the faith-based community to get involved and have influence in the socio-economic development of the country? This community is very powerful and impactful, but yet neglected in the decision making or direction setting of the country. It is the very same tragedy as the non-existent diaspora presence or involvement in the development of Haiti while being such a powerful contributor to the sustenance and livelihood through financial contributions. The faith community is a cornerstone and place of refuge where the Haitian people run to for hope. It is their place of strength for recharge and empowerment. Come join us and help craft a faith-based community pathway for inclusion and participation.
