USAID-SANIFIN: Why and How to Finance Climate-Resilient Sanitation Systems and Services in Haiti?
Location: Capital Ballroom
In Haiti, only around 28 percent of the population has access to improved sanitation systems and services. This low rate, combined with limited investment in the sector, severely hampers the development and expansion of effective sanitation solutions across the entire, currently fragmented, value chain.
This panel will explore USAID’s strategy to offer technical advisory support and blended finance options to sanitation service providers, aiming to expand household access to sanitation services. Additionally, we’ll discuss the Haitian diaspora’s role in advancing sanitation access and introduce the new “SaniPay” one-stop-shop platform.
