To our friends at the National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals (NAAHP),

As Consul, Chief of Mission of the Republic of Haiti in Miami, it is an honor for me to write this letter to congratulate you as you celebrate your 7th Annual NAAHP Conference.

Since your inception you have been driven to make a change in our community, and not only have you achieved that goal, but you have also become a haven where like-minded professionals can connect and work together to create a positive impact here in the Diaspora and in Haiti.

Under this year’s theme, “The Haitian Diaspora: Disrupting and Redefining the Road Ahead,” you have defined your motto of forging a path of greatness that allows local leaders, professionals and the community at large to come together and shape the future of Haiti, the U.S. and abroad.

As you commemorate your seventh conference, I wanted to simply share my gratitude for all you do as a group, while extending a special welcome to those who have come from out of town to take part in all of these events, as well as congratulating the Golden Honorees for achieving this magnificent feat. I also send my most sincere well wishes to the members of NAAHP, your diligence should be commended.

On behalf of the President of Haiti, His Excellency Jovenel Moïse, and all of the citizens of Haiti, as well as those of Haitian descent living here in South Florida, I want to congratulate you on rising to the occasion and making a difference in our community.
